The Tasty Pilgrim

I want to thank you for all the kind wishes for my birthday.

Had a very good meal and a bit of champagne and slept very well. Also many thanks for the funny reactions to my stories. I enjoyed them all ! Every day there is a totally different group of people that I show into the refugio. Yesterday there were about 30 people. Surprisingly enough they were all very tired. By half past nine most of them were asleep. The result is then that they get up very early. I heard the first one coming down the stairs at a quarter past five. Getting up in the morning is for the Hungarian real torture, so I do not put on the light. His mistake is to drink lots of wine in the evening. The wine you get here with your meal is a young wine and the alcohol percentage is over 20 per cent. Two glasses and my head starts to be heavy.

The working hours are tiring, getting up before six and getting into bed by eleven. Wish I could sleep a bit longer. But that will come in time. Today there is no sun, but it is cloudy and some rain might fall.

Also it gets colder so I have to start the fire in the hearth. Problem for pilgrims is they wish to wash their clothes. But no sun, so it will not get dry. I let them hang their washing in the salon, so they can put on soem clean dry clothes the next morning. Later in the day I will send you a surpsrising story, I have been working on now for days.
